
Jacob Simpson

Jacob Simpson is a dedicated communicator who works at GSG to generate public awareness and engagement with corporate, social, and political causes.
Before joining GSG, Jacob worked for the non-profit, World Without Genocide, where he prepared educational material on past and present instances of genocide and worked with relevant stakeholders to support human rights legislation at all levels of government. Earlier in his career, Jacob conducted research on youth electoral participation rates for the Youth Peace and Security Progress Study, mandated by UN Security Council Resolution 2250.
Originally from South Africa, Jacob draws on the lessons of South Africa’s anti-apartheid movement when designing and implementing strategies to promote social change and public engagement.
Jacob received a B.A. in International Studies from Macalester College. Outside of work, Jacob loves exploring NYC on his bike, finding new food spots, and competing in Central Park’s slow pitch softball league.
