Growing up, Sultana imagined herself becoming an archaeologist after reading The Magic Tree House series. Her fascination for storytelling and the intricacy of humanity transformed into a passion for political narratives and intersectionality.

Sultana graduated from the University of Scranton with a Bachelor’s in Political Science and minors in Criminal Justice, Arabic and Philosophy. During her time in Scranton, Sultana was a Government Relations intern where she leveraged various messaging strategies focused on increasing student voter turnout on campus. Her penchant for academia followed her to New York University where she is currently pursuing a Master’s in American Politics.

As an ode to her Bengali heritage, Sultana is trying to teach her ferocious orange tabby, Morgan, how to speak Bangla. Sultana resides in NYC, but her heart yearns to go hiking with her two college friends.
