Brian Zhu

Brian was introduced to politics in 3rd grade, when he voted for Barack Obama in his elementary school’s presidential straw poll. Since then, Brian has interned in the New Jersey General Assembly, worked in government affairs for a disability policy nonprofit, and researched economic policy and transatlantic relations at the Atlantic Council’s GeoEconomics Center.
Brian graduated from Georgetown University with a B.S. in International Political Economy, where he wrote his thesis on the effects of Inflation Reduction Act subsidies on US solar manufacturing. Brian also served as Executive Director of the Georgetown Federal and DC Relations Committee, the nonpartisan policy advocacy wing of Georgetown’s student government.
Outside of work, you can find Brian checking out new coffee shops, looking for live music shows, collecting vinyl, or watching his beloved Boston Celtics and New England Patriots.
