Oonagh Stevans
Pronouns: She/Her/Hers
Oonagh’s first exposure to politics came in the 2nd grade, when she went to a Hillary Clinton rally with a small sign made from printer paper, and her interest has only grown from there.
She holds degrees in Political Science and History, and a minor in Human Rights from the University of Chicago. There, Oonagh worked as a data analyst at CPOST, where she examined how geographic and pandemic-related trends affected suicide terrorism in 5 key regions. She also held a position at the Chicago Center on Democracy, working on a UN Democracy Fund project to produce tools to identify and analyze authoritarian rhetoric in elections.
Now at GSG, Oonagh assists with collecting and analyzing data as an Elections Assistant on the Research Team to support our clients.
Outside of the office, Oonagh enjoys exploring her new home of Washington, DC, doing jigsaw puzzles, and birdwatching.
