New GSG research conducted with Campaigns & Elections shows that not only has voter interest in reading about news and political topics increased during the pandemic, online activism has increased as well. Voters surveyed are posting more about politics on social media, emailing their elected officials at higher rates, and interested in hearing more from their elected officials. Voters also want advertisers to address the pandemic and racial issues and injustices head on in their communications.
