Sullivan Hughes

Sullivan got his start in politics canvassing for the Obama ’08 presidential campaign, and has been passionate about politics and advocacy ever since. As part of the CPA team at GSG, Sullivan provides assistance in public and internal communications, media relations, and supports senior team members in the implementation of campaigns. 

Prior to joining the GSG team, Sullivan interned with Tusk Strategies, where he helped craft messaging and refine digital ad campaigns for corporate clients and The Mobile Voting Project. Previously, he worked as a speechwriting intern at the Office of the Governor of New Jersey, drafting statements and press releases, as well as remarks, for Governor Murphy.  

A proud New Jersey native, Sullivan graduated cum laude from Princeton University with a Bachelor’s degree in the School of Public and International Affairs and a certificate in History & the Practice of Diplomacy. On weekends, you can find him spending way too much on coffee, re-watching the West Wing for the hundredth time, or having his heart broken by the New York Giants.
