Erik Hope

Erik is the Vice President of Technology at GSG where he develops and implements the overall technology strategy for the business in addition to managing GSG’s infrastructure and day-to-day technology operations.

From help desk support to engineering team lead, Erik has worn many hats in his nearly 20 years in technology. Immediately prior to joining GSG Erik was Senior Director of Technology at Kids In Need of Defense (KIND), a multi-national nonprofit dedicated to providing legal and social services to undocumented immigrant youth. In that role Erik managed all aspects of technology operations and engineering. Before joining KIND, Erik was a senior consultant at an international managed services provider, specializing in Microsoft cloud-based technology and tools. Erik has a Bachelor of Science degree from DeVry University.

Erik is a US Navy veteran who lives in the Washington, DC area with his wife, son, two cats, and two dogs. When he’s not working, Erik can be found at a concert, cooking for family and friends, reading science fiction novels, or cheering on the Detroit Red Wings.
