Edwin Alvarado

As a Research Associate at GSG Edwin helps with programming, processing, and analyzing survey data for a variety of GSG’s political clients. 

Before coming to GSG, Edwin worked on academic research including with the Forestry Service on improving survey methodology related to estimating forest attributes across the interior west of the US. Edwin also previously worked as a program coordinator at Reed College. 

Edwin graduated with a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and economics from Reed College in Portland, Oregon, and also earned a master’s in data science from the University of West Florida in Pensacola, Florida.  

Outside of work, Edwin is an avid sports fan, especially the Portland Trail Blazers, and enjoys painting and playing tennis or pickleball when the weather permits.
