Marneé Banks
Pronouns: She/Her/Hers
Marneé has nearly 20 years of experience delivering results for Fortune 50 companies, foundations and nonprofits, elected officials, and media organizations.
Named PRNews Crisis Manager of the Year, Marneé helps her clients navigate negative media attention, congressional investigations and oversight, regulatory and legislative threats, and complex reputational environments. She has helped one of the largest companies in the world develop a global policy brand; assisted a federal government contractor as it implemented an 11-figure contract; and supports numerous nonprofits amidst increasing political polarization. She has run communications campaigns to successfully pass and block legislation; media trained executives; and placed and killed stories in top-tier outlets. Marneé works across sectors but has a specialized focus in financial services, health care, and environment.
Prior to joining GSG, she worked as chief communications and operating officer for a national nonprofit. She also served as communications director for U.S. Senator Jon Tester, navigating the nomination of a Supreme Court Justice, three government shutdowns, tax reform, banking reform, and multiple attempts to repeal the Affordable Care Act.
Marneé also worked as news director and chief political correspondent for the CBS network in Montana.
