Kelly Barr

As a research manager in GSG’s political practice, Kelly Barr leads research for political candidates, non-profits, and issue advocacy clients.

Kelly got her start in politics by working on six political campaigns spanning across the eastern half of the U.S., including Donnelly for Senate, Jon Ossoff, and congressional, mayoral, and city council races across the Midwest and New York.

After hopping across the country, Kelly settled in DC to work on GSG’s data practice, where she became a trusted advisor on polling methodology for complex audiences. She then took leave to join the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC), where she fostered relationships with Members of Congress as the primary analytics liaison to Democratic incumbents.

Kelly originally grew up on a farm in rural Indiana and graduated with honors from Washington University in St. Louis. Outside of work, you can find Kelly cheering on the Washington Spirit women’s soccer team, trying new workout classes, or fiercely playing pickleball.
