Anthony Ruggiero is a Senior Fellow at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies (FDD). His broad experience in the fields of counterproliferation and nonproliferation spans more than 21 years, including more than 19 years in the United States Government in both Democratic and Republican administrations, notably as Deputy Assistant to The President on the National Security Council, The White House. Ruggiero served as a foreign policy staffer for nearly 20 years, focusing on limiting nuclear proliferation in North Korea and around the world.
