Jackie leverages research to better understand people and ensure communication and business strategies are grounded in deep insight.
At GSG, Jackie leads the firm’s corporate research practice. She fuses approaches from consumer, public opinion, social listening, and design research to help clients tackle complex challenges and find opportunities. Jackie’s work spans a variety of issues and categories, with deep experience in tech and telecom, health and health care, CSR, and energy/sustainability.
Jackie’s background blends experiences on both agency and client sides. Before joining GSG, Jackie helped found Breakwater Strategy where she established and led the strategic communications and insights firm’s research division. She began her career at some of DC’s most prominent agencies, including the Glover Park Group (GPG), Penn Schoen Berland (PSB) and Edelman.
In addition, Jackie also spent several years on Verizon’s Consumer Insights team. At one of the largest advertisers and in the fast-paced, ever-evolving tech and telecom sector, she advised marketing teams and business units and uncovered insights that drove brand, advertising, CSR, and experience strategy.
Jackie received her BA in Sociology and Anthropology from Colgate University and completed her MA Communications and MBA from Johns Hopkins University.
