What is Competitive Intelligence?
At GSG, we use publicly available information to help our clients understand their own vulnerabilities and those of their competitors, whether they are executives, board members, businesses, markets or products. Often it is just as important to research yourself as well as your competitors so that you know your own areas of weakness before they are exploited by someone on the outside.
Unlike other firms, we go beyond simply collecting information to analyze and leverage insights to influence the public, press, consumers, analysts, and investors. As we see it, competitive intelligence is not what information is uncovered, but rather how the insight guides business decisions and keeps you one step ahead of your competitors. We define ourselves by the quality of our analysis and its applicability in the real world, not the quantity of material that we uncover.
